Bachelor Academic Studies

 

The enrollment to bachelor studies is open for everyone who has completed a four year high school.

Dates of entrance exams:
Date of entrance exam in September: 1st September at 12.00, at the university premises

Application for taking the enrollment exam can be done in several ways:


Candidates who transfer from other higher education institutions (faculties, colleges and higher schools) are not required to take the entrance exam.

Foreign students are required to get recognition of their high school graduation diplomas.GENERAL ENROLLMENT CONDITIONS FOR MASTER STUDIES


1 Enrollment to graduate academic study programs of 120 ECTS is open for all candidates who have previously graduated from bachelor academic studies with at least 180 ECTS.
2 Enrollment to graduate academic study programs of 60 ECTS is open for all candidates who have previously graduated from bachelor academic studies with at least 240 ECTS.
3. Candidates who have earned higher education degree by the regulations applied prior to the enforcement of the Law of Higher Education, can enroll graduate academic studies. Candidates who have gained a higher education degree from studies lasting at least 8 semesters have the right to enroll graduate academic studies in 60 ECTS.
4 The graduate academic studies are organized in Serbian and English, so candidates need to be independent users of English.


APPLICATION, APPLICATION SELECTION AND DEADLINES


1 The application for enrollment at Master studies consists of two steps. The first step is application by the website http://www.fit.edu.rs/sr/applications/master_application.dot, the second step is submitting documents at the Office for Candidates Enrollment. The deadline for application by the website is 25th January 2010.
2. After the application has been submitted, candidates are invited for an interview, i.e. a discussion with the Admissions Committee for graduate academic studies.
3 Candidates, when taking the interview, submit the following documents for enrollment:
- authorized copy of the degree (or certificates of graduation)
-authorized copy of certificates of passed exams (or addendum to the degree)
-birth certificate (citizenship stated)
4 Evaluation of fulfilling conditions for enrollment is done on the ground of: success at bachelor academic studies (average mark), as well as the opinion of the Admissions Committee after the interview with the candidate.
5 The list of candidates whose enrollment is approved is published latest on 31st January.


ENROLLMENT OF FOREIGH CITIZENS

1 Foreign citizens can enroll the study programs under the same conditions as Serbian citizens, by the same conditions for financing the studies.
2. The candidate - foreign citizen, when applying, should submit recognized degree of graduation and number of ECTS. The recognition could be done at the Faculty of Information Technology, in affordable conditions, with an 80 % discount (amount of 250 EUR in dinars)
3 Serbian citizens who have graduated abroad, or have completed part of the studies abroad, can enroll master studies if the gained degree is recognized by the Law and Specific Acts of the Faculty of Information Technology. If the recognition is not completed, all candidates when applying submit a certificate that the procedure is underway.


DEADLINES, APPLICATION, COMPLAINTS


1 Candidates can make a formal complaint on the regularity of the procedure in a period of 48 hours from the day the decision of the Admissions Committee is made
2. The complaint is submitted to the Committee. The Committee makes a formal proposal after which the Dean reaches a formal act upon the complaint in a period of 24 hours after the complaint was submitted.
3. After the decision about the complaint, the Admissions Committee reaches the final decision about the admission or rejecting of application for enrollment at Master studies.
ENROLLMENT
1. Candidates have the right to enroll if their names can be found on the list of candidates for enrollment at Master studies, published at the web site of the faculty.
2. Candidates who have met the enrollment criteria, can enroll in a period of 7 days by filing appropriate forms (SV form) at the faculty and paying the first installment of the tuition.
TUITION
The tuition is 2000 euros per year for the study program MANAGEMENT, 3000 Euro for the study programs INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND NEW MEDIA DESIGN. The tuition is payable in dinars by the average currency rate on the day of the payment for each payment. The first installment of 50 % is paid during enrollment, the second of the other 50 % is payable till 1st July 2010. The tuition is paid on the account of the Faculty of Information Technology
